- It’s 1 cup of Fine Sugar.
- It’s 1 1/2 each of Egg and 1 Yolk.
- It’s 1 1/2 cup of AP Flour.
- Prepare 1/2 cup of Self-Rising Flour.
- You need 1 each of chocolate frosting & vanilla frosting.
- Prepare 2 tbsp of Bacon Drippings.
- You need 1 tsp of Honey.
- It’s 1/2 tsp of Vanilla Extract.
Bacon-Maple Sugar Cookies step by step
- Preheat oven to 350º.
- Combine sugar and eggs until smooth. Mix in bacon drippings, honey and vanilla.
- Sift flour and incorporate into wet mix making sure no lumps form.
- Knead dough for 10 seconds and chill for 20 min.
- Form cookies and bake for 15-20 min until golden.
- For Maple Frosting: Add 2 tbs good quality maple syrup to your chocolate frosting.
