Surprise Churros Churros are one of my absolute favorite desserts. The fried pastry dough topped with the delicious cinnamon sugar mixture is seriously a match made in heaven. The best part about this Spanish Churros Recipe with Homemade Chocolate Sauce is how easy it is I've never made churros but they look oh so tempting! Ingredients of Surprise Churros

  1. It’s 1 cup of flour/ Maida.
  2. Prepare 1 cup of Grated Carrot.
  3. It’s 1 cup of Water.
  4. It’s 2 tablespoon of Sugar.
  5. Prepare 2 of Eggs.
  6. You need 2 tablespoon of Ghee/ Clarified Butter.
  7. Prepare 4 tablespoon of Butter.
  8. It’s 2 tablespoon of Milk powder.
  9. You need 1 cup of Condensed Milk.
  10. Prepare 1/2 teaspoon of Salt.
  11. It’s As needed of cinnamon powder(optional, mostly kids do not like cinnamon flavour).
  12. Prepare As needed of Oil for frying.
  13. Prepare 1 of Piping bag.
  14. It’s 1 of Nozzle.
  15. Prepare As needed of Wafers for decoration.

I'm surprised by how quick and easy they are. The tradition revisited , surprise your visitors. Churros are fried choux pastry rolled in cinnamon and sugar, sometimes dipped in melted Churros are kind of the Spanish version of donuts. Taco Bell ripped them off with their Cinnamon Twists.

Surprise Churros instructions

  1. Gather all the ingredients. For the stuffing: Take a pan in the gas, in medium low flame, add ghee, grated carrot, condensed milk, milk powder to it & stir properly. When this mixture gets separated from the pan, take it off from the gas. Make small balls/laddu of the mixture..
  2. Take another pan in the gas, in medium low flame, add 1 cup water, butter, sugar, salt & Maida to it & stir continuously. Take the mixture off from the gas when it gets separated from the pan..
  3. Cool this mixture, add an egg in it, mix well & then add the other egg & again mix well so that the mixture gets a slippery texture. Set nozzle in the piping bag & pour the mixture in the piping bag..
  4. In a tray, put some mixture from the piping bag, place a carrot ball/ laddu in it & cover it with the piping bag mixture. Make all the churros in this process..
  5. Once all the churros are made, refrigerate them for some time so that they become solid enough for frying. Deep fry them once they have turned hard..
  6. Coat them with cinnamon powder(optional), sugar, decorate with carrot balls, wafers, chocolate sauce & your Surprise Churros are ready to serve!.
