- You need 1 1/2 cup of sugar.
- Prepare 2 cup of flour.
- You need 1 1/2 tsp of baking powder.

- Prepare 3/4 cup of shortening.

Hannah's Sugar Cookies step by step
- combine sugar, shortening & vanilla till creamy.
- add milk & egg, mix till light & fluffy.
- in separate bowl sift together flour, salt, baking powder.
- slowly fold small amounts of flour mixture till dough forms (slightly stick).
- place in bowl, cover & refrigerate 1 hour or till firm.
- flour surface, roll out dough till 1/4 inch thick & cut cookies.
- place on cookie sheet 1/2 inch to 1 inch apart.
- bake @ 375° F for 8-10 min.
